Strong partnerships with donors, fellow multilaterals, the private sector, and other development actors are vital for CDF to deliver the necessary support for our developing member countries. Only by combining our financial resources, knowledge, and experiences can we be the partners that our developing members need.
“The mobilization of additional financial resources supplementing Member States’ contributions allows the CDF to effectively fulfill its functions and ensure its sustainability, is therefore a matter of utmost urgency.” The additional resources will imbue the CDF with the capacity to assist Member States’ business development and enterprise competitiveness; help in the alleviation of the social and economic impacts of external shocks and natural disasters, to which CARICOM States are very vulnerable.
